Our monthly social is coming up this weekend and we are hosting a luau themed event! That’s right… it is time to wear those Hawaiian shirts, grass skirts, and coconut bras at the pavilion this Saturday, June 26th. The main entree will be Hawaiian chicken provided by our Social Commodore, Sandy Hayes. Please plan to bring a side dish or dessert to share and beverages for your group.
Be sure to get to the pavilion early at 5:15pm for a training session on Introduction to Dyneema, which will be led by our Vice Commodore of Training – Larry Miers. Apparently, Dyneema is some pretty neat stuff — stronger than steel and easier to splice than the typical line used by most of us. We hope that you can plan to attend and learn some great uses for Dyneema on your own boat. Until then… Aloha Spindrifters!!
